Our Story
Decor Artistz has been in the Painting and Decorating industry for over 30 years along with other added services of Renovations and Maintenance, we offer a clean, punctual and highly experienced service. Painting and Decorating are carried out to the highest standards, complete professionalism is our priority.
Decor Artists has kept up with the times and continually invested in new innovative products, we understand that the preparation process is just as important, if not, more important than the painting itself so we have invested in top-end Festool equipment to ensure our job is done to the best possible standard. We have also invested in Graco airless handheld cordless sprayers to offer our clients an extra smooth finish on special or hard-to-finish projects.
Over the years of trading, we have secured close relationships with valued residential owners. We discuss with our clients and share our ideas, experimenting with top-quality paint colours and shade combinations until we come up with a warm and welcoming room scheme that is perfect for you.
As a result, we achieve a healthier more aesthetically pleasing environment for the end user.
Like any other business has some degree of impact on the environment.
We aim to minimise our environmental impact and opt to use water-based paints over oil-based paints.
Traditionally woodwork is painted using oil-based paints, these paints are very durable but have the downside of containing higher levels of Volatile Organic Compounds, these levels can range anywhere between 20-50%, which is what contributes to our atmospheric pollution.
In recent years paint technology has evolved meaning that far less polluting water-based alternatives have become available. The Volatile Organic Compound levels for these types of paints typically range between 0-8%.
Although we do still use oil-based paints we always encourage our clients to opt for the water-based equivalent. By using water-based over oil-based paints we can Recycle/Reuse our paint brushes, trays and equipment and help minimise atmospheric pollution.

Just as lockdown had started and my tenant was moving out of a rented property he recommended Decor Artists to do decorating before next tenant moves in. We engaged with Decor Artists, agreed the work to be done, cost and time frame.
As we were in lockdown it was an unusual situation. They got started on the project, sent daily updates including photos and confirmed on track to finish on due date. From photos I could see dust sheets and other protection was put accordingly.
They finished on due date. Due to lock down we were not able to visit, however with the photos, communication and level of trust we believed the job had been done well.
This was confirmed by our letting agents when they visited. This review has been written prior to seeing the quality of work ourselves.
We would recommend the services of Décor Artists and look forward to using them again in the future.

Very nice guys whom I was happy having working in my house. Mcneil and Phil insulated my (rather complicated) loft. Clean, tidy and obliging. Good communication, neat work. The cost was a little higher than I was expecting, but not off the scale, It was the best offer I received maybe I’m an optimist. Turned up at 8 a.m. each morning and worked diligently.
